Xanterra Travel Collection, the largest operator of lodges, restaurants, tours, and activities in U.S. national parks, has announced two new appointments to its executive leadership team.
Jason Grant is stepping into the Chief Information Officer (CIO) role at Xanterra, succeeding Richard Rabinoff, who is set to retire by the end of the year. Grant and Rabinoff will work collaboratively in the interim to support key projects.
Grant joins from Windstar Cruises, where he served as vice president of information technology since August 2024. The executive brings to the role an extensive background in technology solutions for the travel sector, having served in senior leadership roles at Holland America, Lindblad Expeditions, and Shoot 360.
“We’re excited to welcome Jason to our executive team,” said Andy Todd, Xanterra Travel Collection president and CEO. “His leadership and experience will be essential in advancing our technology strategy and continuing to improve operations company-wide. We are grateful for Richard’s positive impact on Xanterra over the past decades, and we are pleased to welcome Jason to fill his role.”
Xanterra has also named Carrie Provo as corporate director of sales. Provo’s background is in hospitality sales; most recently, she served as corporate director of sales and marketing at Timbers Company, leading revenue growth for a portfolio of luxury resorts.
“Carrie will be an invaluable addition to the Xanterra team,” said Andrew Heltzel, chief commercial officer. “Her leadership and track record in sales strategy will play a key role in driving growth and elevating the guest experience across our properties.”
